For this week's wine lottery at work I had the privilege to arrange the wines (actually it is a duty when you win first price).
To make it a bit more fun I decided to make tags for the bottles. And here they are...

Passionated Muffin

As a Sunday treat, and as a treat for myself, I made lovely pineapple and orange muffins. I spent most my evenings this week working on my boyfriends new Snow trooper Commander outfit (pics will be added later) sewing and fitting and sewing again. Come Sunday I finally had some time left for my own hobbies - cakes and cards! I will post the cards later on, because the girl I made them for has not received them yet.

I made up a passion and vanilla frosting for the cupcakes and decorated with flowers I made from sugarpaste and sprinkles. I also used one of my newest modelling tools, a textures lace cutter from Tårtdecor. This time I chose to use coloured sugarpaste.

Chocolate....again....

For New Years I was asked to bring some candy. I decided to make different types of chocolate truffles as this is both delicious and easy to vary in flavours. I used this recipie and then flavoured it with saffron and chilli, cardamom and coffee, and used white chocolate and lemon for one batch. My favourite is the saffron and chilli truffle, and one with white chocolate and lime, however this time I only had lemon at home.

I am sorry for the small pictures but I borrowed them from a friend (it's my truffles though)

Chocolate muffins

Tried Leila's chocolate muffins for the first time. These are really rich with chocolate!

I had already cracked the eggs when I discovered we had no sugar at home. Fortunately we had fructose and sweetener, it works but does give the same yummy stickiness to the muffins. Couldn't find the recepie on the internet so I will have to add it later.
Anyhow, here's a picture.

Happy new cake and cupcake year everyone :)

Last post

Perhaps the last post for this year, at least before Christmas I think. Tomorrow I join my wonderful boyfriend and son in the north. While they've been gone I spent some time scrapping Christmas cards.... here are some of them.

Christmas candy

This weekend I made some Christmas candy...

Chocolate candy with sugar free dark chocolate, 4 different kinds of nuts, coffee and cardamom.

Christmas muesli, with blueberries, cranberries and apples, cinnamon and cardamom.

White chocolate candy with cranberries and mini marshmallows.

I hope you enjoy your holiday and that you treat yourself to many different kinds of food and sweets during Christmas.

Leila's muffins a la Malin

Made some "healthy" muffins for me, my sister and our mother. Tomorrow we are going on a daytrip and need some good energy. These are made from Leila's book "A piece of cake". I added one avocado, chopped pecans, cashews and almonds and some ginger cookie spices.

Chocolate truffles

A Christmas without chocolate is not a real holiday... These little treats are made with pistachio and dark chocolate. I brought them to work for my colleagues, otherwise I would have eaten them all, yummy.

Have a very merry chocolaty Christmas

Kid is asleep and I pulled out all my new Christmas papers and other scrap things to remake two chocolate bars. These are for a colleague of mine who has invited us to Christmas lunch tomorrow at her house. I hope she will enjoy them, both the chocolate and the decorations.
